We are located in sunny San Tan Valley, Arizona, the middle school for J.O. Combs Unified School District, serving approximately 1000 students. Our school goals include:

• Provide a safe and secure environment
• Promote a strong desire for learning
• Provide strong essential academic skills
• Teach social and communication skills students will need to succeed in high school and life
• Provide knowledge of technology needed to move students into the world of work in the 21st century

A great example of what we striving for is evidenced by the CMS School Pledge. Every day, along with the Pledge of Allegiance and moment of silence, our students recite the school pledge:

"Today I will do more than I have to do, I will treat others as I want to be treated, and I will try to become a better person." 

This simple and clear pledge helps reinforce our overall goal for our students.
