There are many opportunities for our students to get involved at J.O. Combs Middle School. A few of our organizations are discussed below:  Student Council is involved in many activities, fund-raisers, and events on campus. Its members present the awards at the honor roll assemblies and sponsors the good citizen luncheons. The "Do Something" organization also recognized our Student Council for outstanding contribution to "The Kindness and Justice Challenge." Student Council members are involved in community action projects and were recognized by "Save the Family" for their donations to the organization. Student Council helps students develop leadership, responsibility, and pride in themselves and their school. 7th grade students serve as officers and all student council members must meet set academic and behavioral standards.
